Hearing Examiner: Parkland Heights Preliminary Plat

The purpose of the hearing is to take testimony on an application for a preliminary plat, for the subdivision of approximately 5.34-acres into 23 single-family residential lots. Public Hearing: City Council Compensation

The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments regarding an increase to City Council compensation.

The Independent Salary Commission is considering an increase to Council’s base salary; an increase in pay for those members serving as Council President and Deputy Council President; adding an annual cost of living adjustment; providing a match (up to $200 per month) for those participating in the City’s 457 plan; adding an optional stipend for low-income members; adding life insurance and long-term disability benefits; and determining amounts and related effective dates.
