City crews will be constructing a multi-use urban trail between 3rd Ave NW and 2nd Ave NW. from Sept. 5-Oct. 5. This work is part of the City's Strategic Mobility Projects to improve accessibility, including on sidewalks and curbs.
Work hours are Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
Detour
Starting September 8, NW Juniper St. will have one-way, west-bound only travel, from south of 2nd Ave NW to 3rd Ave NW. A detour for those travelling from the east will utilize 3rd Ave NW, NW Holly St, and 2nd Ave NW.
The detour will be in place during working hours. Both directions of travel will be open outside of working hours. Normal two way traffic is expected to fully resume on Oct. 5, barring any weather related delays. Please plan additional travel time during weekdays and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Project Details
This project will construct a 10-foot multi-use urban trail connection, with a landscaping buffer and street lighting, filling a gap in the Juniper Trail on the north side of NW Juniper St. Construction also includes a new illuminated crosswalk across NW Juniper St. and the replacing of stormwater infrastructure.
