Please be advised of lane reductions and congestion on State Route 18 (SR 18). Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) crews are continuing to widen the highway and redesign the interchange. Expect increased travel times and congestion.
SR 18 Closures
There are several closures and lane reductions on SR 18:
- The eastbound truck climbing/passing lane at the base of Tiger Mountain closed at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6. This is a long-term closure that lasts until late 2024/early 2025 when highway widening is complete.
- On SR 18 between I-90 (MP 27.95) and Deep Creek (MP 25.4), expect single lane alternating traffic with flaggers from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays at the interchange, SE 104th St and south near the base of Tiger Mountain.
- On SR 18 westbound from SE 104th St (MP 27) to Issaquah Hobart Rd (MP 25) the right lane is closed due to maintenance.
Please see map below for a visual rendering of these closures.
Note that there are also construction impacts on I-90. Please plan extra time.
