This case, as well as others in the area, are actively under investigation by the police department.
NOTE: Most burglaries occur during the day, when burglars are on the lookout for unoccupied and unsecured homes, but they also occur at night. Do everything you can to make it look like you are home: lights on timers, leave the radio/tv on. Don’t ignore people knocking on your door. Many burglars knock first to determine if someone is home. If you don’t want to talk with them, don’t, but let them know you are there. Make sure you have access to cameras, and they record the footage for at least a week time frame. Keep safe and get to know your neighbors. You are the first line of defense against break-ins.
