Following the May 1, 2023 City Council Meeting, City Council is reviewing a draft Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). 

About the CIP

The CIP lists Issaquah’s planned infrastructure investments from roads to parks over a six-year time frame. The proposal includes City Council’s priorities, input from boards and commissions, Issaquah’s Capital Finance Community Task Force and community members. Project design, land acquisition, construction costs and the projected means of financing are integral components of this plan. Learn more on the CIP webpage.

Timeline

There are several City Council deliberations scheduled during the next few months, each representing an opportunity for community members to provide feedback on this important roadmap.

Upcoming Meetings

• May 8: City Council Committee of the Whole Meeting – discussing Facilities funding and kicking off City Council deliberations
• May 9: City Council Committee for Mobility and Infrastructure – discussing Transportation, Water Utility, and Sewer Utility projects
• May 16: City Council Committee for Services, Safety, and Parks – discussing Parks & Trails, Technology & Systems, and Facility projects
• May 22: City Council Committee of the Whole Meeting – further discussing facilities funding and continuing deliberations
• June 6: City Council Committee for Planning, Development, and Environment – discussing Stormwater projects
• June 20: City Council Regular Meeting – anticipated adoption of the proposed CIP
