Call Type: Unwanted Subject

Time/Date: 0750, 04/17/23

Location: 6600 BLK 230TH AVE SE

Description: On 04/17/23, a call came in reporting a barefoot male was seen walking around on the caller's property with blood covering their face. After investigation, responding officers determined the male was unable to care for themselves and was admitted to the hospital after receiving initial treatment by Eastside Fire and Rescue.  

Call Type: Accident, Injury

Time/Date: 2314, 04/17/23

Location: NE Park DR & 15TH AVE NE

Description: Around 2314 hrs, A call was received reporting a flipped vehicle on fire. After investigation, responding officers determined the driver was tired, swerved and hit a tree, causing the vehicle to flip and catch fire. Fortunately, the driver was wearing their seatbelt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Aid and Fire arrived shortly thereafter and transported the driver to the hospital.

Time/Date: 1654, 04/18/23

Location: 700 BLK NW Gilman BLVD

Description: On 04/18/23, an employee called to report witnessing a male concealing merchandise under their jacket. Officers arrived and were able to detain the individual. All merchandise was recovered, and the suspect was arrested upon investigation of Theft in the 3rd Degree.

Time/Date: 2058, 04/19/23

Location: 800 BLK Front ST N

Description: On 04/19/23, an employee of a local business called to report a female came inside requesting assistance in looking for shelter. An officer arrived and attempted to find temporary housing for the woman but was unsuccessful. The employee ultimately offered to give the woman a ride as the alternative.

Call Type: Welfare Check

Time/Date: 2141, 04/20/23

Location: 100 BLK Dogwood ST

Description: Multiple calls came in reporting a female yelling obscenities and throwing items from their home at cars. Officers arrived and after speaking to the woman and settling the situation, offered assistance from the City's Human Services team for additional resources.

Call Type: Accident, Non-Injury / DUI

Time/Date: 1607, 04/21/23

Location: 6600 BLK 230TH AVE SE

Description: On 04/21/23, a call came in reporting a person drove their vehicle into a gate and then drove off. The subject was followed by another individual who reported concern for the driver who was reportedly swerving between lanes. Responding officers were able to catch up and stop the vehicle. After speaking with the subject, they were arrested on investigation of Driving Under the Influence, among other related charges.

Time/Date: 1932, 04/21/23 

Location: 1800 BLK 15TH PL NW  

Description: Around 1932 hrs, a caller reported being physically assaulted while driving on the freeway into Issaquah. Officers arrived and after further review, arrested an individual on investigation of said assault and transferred them to Washington State Patrol authorities.

Call Type: Theft In-Progress

Time/Date: 1413, 04/22/23

Location: 6200 BLK East Lake Sammamish PKWY SE

Description: On 04/22/23, a local business called to report a man had stolen tools from their location and left in a white van. Initial responding officers searched for the vehicle but were unable to locate it. Eventually, the subject was found at another business. After confirming the subject's involvement, they were arrested on investigation on Theft in the 3rd Degree.

Call Type: Accident, Non-Injury / DUI

Time/Date: 2125, 04/22/23

Location: 17TH AVE NW & NW Gilman BLVD

Description: Around 2125 hrs, a call came in reporting a vehicle had driven off the roadway and into a ditch. Officers arrived and coordinated towing and care for the driver before arresting the individual on investigation of Driving Under the Influence.

Call Type: Suspicious (Attempted Vehicle Prowl)

Time/Date: 0953, 04/23/23 

Location: 1000 BLK 10TH AVE NE

Description: On 04/23/23, officers were notified there was a male subject with a shopping cart and a propane tank acting oddly in the area. While enroute, a second call came in reporting the same subject had opened the door to an unlocked vehicle and gotten inside of it and was searching through contents. Upon arrival, the subject admitted to the actions and was arrested on investigation of Vehicle Trespass.
