Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will be repairing bridge decks that have been damaged due to winter weather and heavy traffic between the Preston interchange at Southeast 82nd Street and Highlands Drive in Issaquah. Late April-May Closures
April 30-May 3 Closure
- Date/time: April 30 at 10 p.m. through May 3 at 7 a.m.
- Location: WSDOT will reduce a section of eastbound I-90 east to one lane around the clock. The construction will be 1 mile west of the Preston interchange (see map below).
- Purpose: Repair bridge decks
The two scheduled closures will repair bridge decks that are in rough shape after years of heavy traffic and winter weather.
The lane reduction provides a safe work area for the people repairing I-90. These are a continuation of repairs WSDOT began in summer 2022.
May 19-22
- Date/time: More details to come
- Location: WSDOT will reduce a section of westbound I-90 to one lane around the clock. The construction will be just west of the Highlands Drive Northeast interchange (see map below).
- Purpose: Repair bridge decks
The lane reduction provides a safe work area for the people repairing I-90. These are a continuation of repairs WSDOT began in summer 2022.
