[ARCHIVED] Daylight Saving: Change Your Clock, Change Your Battery

As you prepare to spring forward with the start of daylight saving time at 2 a.m. March 12, 2023, remember to change the battery in your smoke detector.

A smoke detector, when properly maintained and installed, is the only thing in your home that can alert you and your family to a fire 24/7/365.

A working smoke detector is constantly on alert, scanning the air for fire and smoke. Install smoke detectors on every level of your home, including the basement.
