Description: On 02/13/23, an individual reported their daughter had jumped out of their boyfriend’s moving vehicle during a verbal argument. An officer followed up with the daughter who declined aid and stated they weren’t threatened. After confirming no crime had occurred, the officer discussed next steps and how to acquire no contact orders if that was of interest.

Description: A call was received reporting a repeat shoplifter inside a local business with a cart full of diapers. Upon arrival, the subject had stolen the diapers and drove off, but a car matching the description of the subject’s vehicle was identified and a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle. Inside the vehicle were three males, two of which had warrants, and the stolen merchandise. Officers arrested one individual with a warrant out of Fife for DV Assault in the 4th Degree and transported them to the King County Jail. The primary subject was arrested on investigation of Theft in the 3rd Degree, Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer, and giving a False Statement to a Public Servant and was subsequently booked into the Issaquah City Jail. All merchandise was returned to the local business.

Description: Around 1451 hrs, a call was received from a local business reporting an unknown juvenile driving a gray jeep wrangler came through the drive through and spat upon an employee before coming inside and throwing a smoothie. IPD is awaiting video footage of the incident for further investigation.

Description: On 02/15/23, a good Samaritan called reporting a female on the ground outside a local business with a bloody face. They had attempted to see if the subject needed assistance and the subject began yelling. Officers responded, offering aid, but the subject refused assistance and stated they only wanted a ride to a candy shop. Following this, officers inquired about which candy shop they could help her get something from but the subject turned and walked off while screaming.

Location: 1000 BLK Newport Way NW
Description: On 02/16/23, a call was received reporting two males and a lot of screaming on a private property. Officers arrived to find a male living on a private property. Officers confirmed not only did he not own the property but had a misdemeanor warrant out of a neighboring jurisdiction. The individual was arrested on the warrant and the owner of the property was notified about the situation.

Location: 800 BLK Front ST North
Description: Around 2140 hrs, a white RAM truck was observed driving east on NW Gilman BLVD when they drove over the median into oncoming traffic. The vehicle proceeded to run a red light and cross lanes again before the vehicle turned north into the parking lot of a local business and ran into a large curb and bushes. Officers addressed the immediate needs of the driver and then a report was forwarded to Washington State Patrol, who then took custody of the driver for DUI.

Description: At approximately 2353 hrs, a man was observed parking an unmarked van behind a local business’ delivery trucks before proceeding with an unknown activity. After making contact, an officer ran the subject’s ID to find they had an active felony warrant for Escape Community Custody for Assault in the 3rd Degree. The subject was then arrested on the warrant and transported to King County Jail.

Location: 5000 BLK NW Village Park DR
Description: On 02/17/23, a local resident called to report their vehicle had been broken into while in front of their residence. No damage was found but grocery cards were taken from the unlocked vehicle. Unfortunately, there was no photo/video footage of the incident or descriptions of the suspect(s) involved.

Location: 100 BLK Front ST North
Description: Around 0226 hrs, a call was received reporting a disturbance outside a local business, involving reportedly 20 subjects potentially fighting. Responding officers made contact and discovered only two subjects, who turned out to be family members, were arguing with each other. Both subjects were able to separate and left the area in their vehicles.

Description: On 02/18/23, a call was received from a concerned citizen reporting they had previously witnessed a white male wearing a black hoody holding a baby on a balcony stating, “sit down or I’ll throw you off the ledge.” Officers attempted to make contact once the situation was reported but there was no response.

Location: 1000 BLK NW Gilman BLVD
Description: Around 1224 hrs, a resident reported their vehicle was possibly stolen. The caller had stopped by a local business and was in for only 45 mins when they returned to find their Blue Ford F250 Super Duty truck missing. The responding officer officially listed the vehicle as stolen but unfortunately there was no video footage of the incident or suspect descriptions to go on.

Location: 5000 BLK East Lake Sammamish PKWY SE
Description: On 02/19/23, a local resident called to report that his license plates were stolen after being notified by another police department that his plates were being used to commit crimes on a different vehicle elsewhere. Both plates were listed as stolen, and the individual was advised to contact the DMV to get new plates.
