[ARCHIVED] Volunteer: Serve on a Board or Commission

Our volunteer boards and commissions do important work — but they can’t do it without you.

About

The City of Issaquah strives to have diverse boards and commissions that are representative of the community we serve. We value a variety of perspectives and life experiences and encourage people of all backgrounds to apply. We believe diversity and inclusion among our board and commission members is critical to the success of our City.

Serving on a City board or commission is a fun, interesting and impactful way to make a difference in our community. We’re now accepting applications for all boards and commissions. Our boards and commissions cover a broad range of topics — arts, economic development, environmental issues, growth and even international diplomacy.

Learn More, Apply

To learn more about our boards and commissions and to apply, go to issaquahwa.gov/apply. The application deadline is Feb. 28, 2023. Following the application screening process, interviews will be scheduled in March, appointments in April, with terms effective May 1, 2023.
