[ARCHIVED] Honor Juneteenth and Pride Month

Join the City of Issaquah for two enriching community events to reflect on the significance of why Juneteenth is a holiday and honor Pride Month by joining an inclusive conversation to stand with our LGBTQIA+ community.

Juneteenth: Monday, June 20th 5:00 PM, in-person at the Issaquah Senior Center

Honoring Pride Month: Thursday, June 23rd 6:30 PM, virtual event

The in-person educational community event, will feature Mr. Delbert Richardson, owner/curator of the national award winning American History Traveling Museum - The “Unspoken” Truths. With the use of authentic artifacts, and storytelling, Mr. Richardson will engage the audience in a thought-provoking dialogue on Why Juneteenth is an American Holiday that the entire family and residents of all ages can attend.
