City crews are working in coordination with the Issaquah Highlands Community Association (IHCA) to install two sets of Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons (RFFBs) at two highly used pedestrian crossings along NE Park Dr. in the Issaquah Highlands.
One project location is located at NE Park Dr. and NE Hickory Ln., and the other is approximately 100ft east of Central Park Dr. NE.
Most of the scheduled work will be performed from the parking spaces adjacent to the crosswalks, however there will be times that flagging and alternating traffic will occur.
Work is scheduled to start on May 16 and run through May 31. The working hours are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mon.-Fri., and all phases of this work are weather dependent and include concrete cure times as well, causing there to be days with workers present and others without.
Questions related to this project can be emailed to Bennett Ashbaugh, Public Works Manager.
