Washington State Department of Transportation (WSOT) crews plan to close a lane along West Lake Sammamish Parkway for approximately 9 weeks, starting in early February.
This work is part of their I-90 Auxiliary Lane and Soundwall Project.
WSDOT crews will be closing the eastbound lane of traffic within the work zone and traffic will alternate with flagger support. Work hours will be 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. The road will be fully reopened each day at the end of shift, and during the weekends.
This work is necessary to install sound walls on top of the newly constructed retaining walls. WSDOT will be providing notices to the affected home owners located within the closure, and message boards will be posted on either end of the work limits.
Questions related to this project can be emailed to Matt Ellis, Senior Engineer.
