[ARCHIVED] Update: Local Power Outages

9:45 a.m. Oct. 25: Puget Sound Energy (PSE) crews have restored power to most of Issaquah following windy weather this weekend. A few small outages are still present on PSE's outage map

Earlier power outages were the result of the wind coupled with stressed trees that still have their leaves. In stiff and gusty winds, that means trees can topple more easily and damage power equipment, and branches can take flight and hit power lines.

Puget Sound Energy customers can call 1-888-225-5773 to report power outages and receive service updates, or report outages online.

Please do not call 911 for non-emergency questions, such as power outage duration or reasons for the outage.

To prevent carbon monoxide poisoning, never burn charcoal or use gasoline-powered equipment indoors. It’s also advised to have a carbon monoxide detector in your home.

Our guide to preparing for power outages offers more tips.
