The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary with two live-stream Recipe for Hope events on September 28. Participants will be inspired while helping to raise $250,000 to support the vital services provided to East King County residents. Visit their website for more information, to register for the live-stream, and to donate.
The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank provides free food, clothing, hygiene and baby items, as well as case management services to a 110 square mile service area and clothing and case management to an expanded 16-zip code region. These crucial resources have been essential to keeping residents healthy, housed and employed, and have knitted this East King County community together in the effort to make it all possible. “We would not have been able to provide such a positive impact to the community all these years if it wasn’t for our amazing community members who are so committed to our mission. Our volunteers, donors, and community partners all care deeply about those we serve and it’s evident by the outcomes we see,” shared Cori Walters, Executive Director.
