Neighborhoods: Olde Town

At the July 6 Council meeting, City staff will be presenting an agenda bill related to Olde Town land use code updates and a status update on projects relating to traffic calming and pedestrian improvements in and around the Olde Town neighborhood. 

Land Use Code Updates

Agenda Bill 7788 - Olde Town Land Use Code Amendments - will be presented to council. Amendment #3- Code revisions to increase impervious surface - was to be considered, but that is being postponed until the Storm and Surface Water Master Plan update is complete.

Traffic Calming and Pedestrian Improvement Updates

The topics that will be covered at the council meeting include updates to the 2nd Avenue SE and SE Bush Street improvements, school zone signage evaluation, and Darst neighborhood turning restrictions/4th Avenue closure.
