[ARCHIVED] Talus: Middle School Watermain Work Beginning

Work on a previously approved water main relocation for the new middle school campus located in Talus, will start this week and is expected to last two weeks.

Drivers can expect no through traffic on Timber Ridge Way Northwest and Falcon Way Northwest during the work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., weekdays.  Both streets will be open to through traffic after construction concludes each night.

During the work, flaggers will be on-site to assist drivers.

Crews are working to minimize impacts—access to the main garage of Timber Ridge will still be off Falcon Way Northwest, while access to the Timber Ridge loading dock and the south garage will need to be from Timber Ridge Way Northwest.

Construction permits have not yet been issued for the middle school but are being reviewed.

Once the City issues the construction permits to the Issaquah School District, residents can expect heavy machinery on-site with site work, grading and the construction of walls beginning.

Construction of the middle school is permissible to continue with the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order because the project is a “public facility” and falls under the “essential work approved to continue” category.
