[ARCHIVED] Winter Storm: City Crews Focus on Cleanup

Following the recent winter weather, Issaquah’s crews are currently removing sand and other snow-related materials from City streets. The process can take four to six weeks, depending on the size of the storm, and further inclement weather or winter storms can add delays. The cleanup takes time, as we must make several trips at each location, along with completing our normal day-to-day operations.

Once crews complete a Citywide cycle of sweeping, they will begin to address localized points of build-up. If your neighborhood has a large sand build-up, please let the City know by reporting that problem as a “Sweeping” need through our Report a Concern tool.
