[ARCHIVED] Traffic Alert: Tree work along Front St and Gilman Blvd
On June 4 and 5, crews will be removing a series of poplar trees at Front St and NE Gilman Blvd. These trees have been hit by cars and
have been evaluated by an arborist and removal has been recommended. No traffic impacts are expected for this removal.
can expect possible delays on June 6 as crews work to remove several other hazard trees along NE Gilman Blvd. This work will
require intermittent lane closures and is expected to last until early afternoon. Lane closures will
be a single lane at the location of the tree.
New street trees will be planted in the fall to replace those along Gilman Blvd. Trees on the corner of Front St and Gilman will be replaced as part of the future street improvements later on.
