[ARCHIVED] Mayor's Month of Concern: Food Bank Donation Drop Off

Results are in for the Mayor’s Month of Concern for the Hungry Food Drive. City staff collected 712 pounds of food for the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank, a new donation record for staff. The donation was handed off on October 4th.

On September 4th, the Mayor delivered a proclamation in support of the Mayor's Month of Concern for the Hungry. Stores around Issaquah assisted in collecting donations as part of a larger community effort. In total, that community effort helped raise 23,292 pounds of food and toiletries.  That is the equivalent of 11.65 tons!
