The City of Sammamish plans to fully close a portion of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast near Louis Thompson Road Northeast from Aug. 6-21. A map of the closure is available online.
The closure includes both vehicular and bicycle traffic.
The primary detour route will be 212th Way Southeast/212th Avenue Southeast/Louis Thompson Road. Residents and commuters should also anticipate periodic lane closures on the parkway between July and September 2018.
In addition, King County will close a short segment of the East Lake Sammamish Trail starting July 30. The closure will last
approximately 30 days. Trail users will be able to enter and exit the trail from or to East Lake Sammamish Parkway at 611 E. Lake Sammamish Shore Lane N.E., and 125 E. Lake Sammamish Parkway S.E. More details are available online
Crews will be improving fish passage and restoring Zackuse Creek. The project includes replacing an existing culvert, which requires removing and then repaving the parkway.
