[ARCHIVED] Workshop: Newport Way Corridor Concept

Before the City Council considers a preliminary design concept – for Newport Way Northwest from SR 900 to Southeast 54th Street, the City is hosting a final workshop for community members.

This design includes solutions for various driveways and intersections along the corridor, as well as the proposed roadway amenities, including vehicle lanes; bicycle and pedestrian facilities; and landscaping.

Since June, the City’s team has worked closely with neighborhood leaders to shape project goals. Together, we have considered design constraints and opportunities, and are looking forward to sharing the proposed design.

This final workshop will present the results of that work, and an opportunity for you to provide additional feedback.

  • 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23
  • Tibbetts Creek Manor (750 17th Ave. N.W.)
