Issaquah residents can drop off special recycling items at The Recology Store for free.

These are items that can't be tossed into your curbside recycling carts — but still deserve to be recycled — including:
  • CFL lightbulbs
  • Household batteries
  • Old textiles
  • Hardcover books
  • Small electronics and appliances
  • Block Styrofoam
  • Bikes
Find a complete list of drop-off items at cleanscapes.com. The store is located in Gilman Village, 317 N.W. Gilman Blvd., No. 22.

During February 2017, if you drop off one of the difficult-to-recycle items at the store, you'll receive 15 percent off your entire purchase that day!
