In the next few weeks, exciting changes will begin at Confluence Park!
Confluence Park is comprised of three contiguous parks: Tollë Anderson Homestead, Cybil-Madeline Green and Margaret's Meadow. Using a grant and voter-approved park bond funds, as well as other City funds, we will add new amenities throughout the park, including:
- A pedestrian bridge over the main stem of Issaquah Creek, connecting Margaret's Meadow with Tollë Anderson Homestead and Cybil-Madeline Green
- A parking area at Margaret's Meadow
- A playground with exciting new features
- Soft-surface pedestrian trails
During the past year, we worked with our community to finalize designs for the pedestrian bridge and playground. Now, we look forward to adding amenities for our entire community to enjoy.
The project is expected to take up to five months to complete. We will work with our contractor to minimize noise and traffic impacts to the surrounding neighborhood.
