Best Workplaces for Waste Prevention and Recycling

Congratulations to the Issaquah businesses and organizations named as the Best Workplaces for Waste Prevention and Recycling by King County.

King County's Solid Waste Division has named 112 local businesses to its 10th annual list of Best Workplaces.

For the fifth year in a row, the City of Issaquah was recognized among the Best Workplaces, making the City as one of 54 organizations on the Honor Roll.

Each of the 2016 Best Workplace businesses has shown exceptional commitment to recycling and reducing the amount of waste their company sends to the landfill. Their actions help reduce the impacts of climate change and feed recycled materials back into the economy.

The Recology Store in Issaquah's Gilman Village also accepts many items, such as light bulbs and clothing.
