As work continues to enhance Front Street, changes to parking and sidewalks will start June 13, 2016.
While we will do our best to work with residents, businesses, drivers and pedestrians, there will be some disruptions. Please note, businesses will remain open during construction.
- No on-street parking is allowed on either side of Front Street from Sunset Way to Northwest Alder Place. Crews will use that space to work and stage equipment. The closure, which will continue through August, will allow crews to work more quickly and prevent delays by allowing easier access to sidewalks and the street.
- Due to construction, outdoor furniture, such as restaurant tables and chairs, must be removed from the sidewalks on the east side of Front Street between Sunset and Alder from June 13 until July. Furniture can be placed behind the buildings facing Depot Park.Construction to enhance Front Street will wrap up before Salmon Days.
