[ARCHIVED] You're Invited: Sustainability Film Series Returns

The Clean Bin Project

You're invited as our Sustainability Film Series continues May 24, 2016, with "The Clean Bin Project."

The multi-award-winning documentary follows a couple that challenges each other to produce the least amount of waste in a year.

Their lighthearted competition is set against an examination of the problem of waste and brings to light small changes — and big ones — we can all make.

The event starts at 6 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre at Issaquah High School, 700 Second Ave. S.E. The event is free and open to the public.

Before the film, we'll recognize our student poster and video contest winners. Guests will have a chance to talk with students about their posters, as well as meet with our community partners.

You can also get sustainability tips from the Washington State Department of Ecology's Candy Castellanos.
