Celebrate World Fish Migration Day with Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, or FISH!
The annual celebration is a one-day, global-local event to raise awareness about the importance of open rivers and migratory fish.
World Fish Migration Day comes to the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, 125 W. Sunset Way, from 1-4 p.m. May 21, 2016. The celebration is free and open to the public.
James Bower, a King County fisheries biologist and Kokanee Work Group member, will present information about native Lake Sammamish kokanee salmon and answer your questions about the little red fish.
Connect with FISH's partner organizations as well, including the Bellevue/Issaquah Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust.
