Drivers: Prepare for closures of Southeast 62nd Street between East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast and 221st Place Southeast/Fourth Avenue Northwest.
To minimize traffic impacts, the City’s contractor will close 62nd Street overnight starting Feb. 29, 2016. Work will occur between 8 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday to Thursday for approximately one week, depending on weather.
Next, the Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District will close 62nd Street to all eastbound traffic between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 2.

With most nighttime work wrapping up, some crews will switch to normal daytime working hours the week of March 7. Puget Sound Energy will to work continue at night for approximately one more month, depending on weather. Puget Sound Energy will work between 8 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday to Thursday.
The work is part a larger project to widen East Lake Sammamish Parkway. Throughout 2016, crews will add a new southbound travel lane between Southeast 56th Street and Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road. To learn more about the project, go to issaquahwa.gov/eastlakesamm.
