Stay safe on New Year's Eve — and remember the City ban on the use and possession of all fireworks without a permit.
The ban encompasses all fireworks, including sparklers, cones, fountains and Roman candles.
Adopted in 1993, the City’s ban aims to keep citizens and property safe. Most surrounding cities also ban fireworks for personal use.
Please keep 911 open for emergencies, and do not overload the system with non-emergency fireworks calls.
Only call 911 if you need emergency assistance and need immediate help from police, fire or medics. To report non-emergencies, such as illegal fireworks, call 425-837-3200.
