Help salvage native plants for habitat restoration projects.
King County needs volunteers Nov. 7, 2015, for the Native Plant Salvage Program. Volunteer to dig up plants and then pot them for use in restoration projects.
Once replanted, the native plants help reduce erosion, shade streams and provide habitat.

Organizers provide gloves, tools and light refreshments. Volunteers can also get free plants.
Dress for the weather and be prepared to get dirty. Sturdy shoes or boots are recommended.
