Work will start the week of Nov. 2, 2015, on a road embankment along Squak Mountain's Mountainside Drive Southwest.
The street, which serves the Forest Rim neighborhood, will remain open as crews work on the road shoulder. No closures or traffic disruptions are expected.
Crews will use rock-filled wire baskets, or gabion baskets, to stabilize the embankment. The project will also restore the guardrail. Temporary jersey barriers along the street will be removed.
