[ARCHIVED] - Learn to Photograph Wildlife at Lake Sammamish -

Get close to nature and learn to photograph wildlife at Lake Sammamish State Park.

Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park and Northwest Wildlife Photos invite you to a two-day course in wildlife photography.

The class is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 25, 2015, and from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Aug. 29 at the state park, 2000 N.W. Sammamish Road.

On Aug. 25, class meets at the new Sunset Beach Bathhouse and on Aug. 29, participants will meet at the bathhouse and then spend the day photographing wildlife in the park.

No experience is necessary. Participants should bring a camera (even a smartphone), notepads and questions.

The class is designed for people age 14 or older. Cost is $20, which includes both days. Space is limited; register online.

A Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to the park on Aug. 29. On Aug. 25, a Discover Pass is not required because it’s a state parks free day.

Organizers request for participants to leave pets at home.
