[ARCHIVED] You're Invited: Free Concert Features Sounds of Cinema

Experience eight decades of music from classic films as the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra presents "The Sounds of Cinema" — a free concert sponsored by Rowley Properties.

Starting Aug. 7, 2015, pick up your free ticket at Rowley Properties, 1595 N.W. Gilman Blvd., Suite 1, during regular business hours. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be obtained prior to the concert.

"The Sounds of Cinema" comes to Village Theatre, 303 Front St. N., at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 21.

Listen as the Sammamish Symphony presents a program of music used in, and written for, hit films, from comedy and drama to horror and science fiction. Conductor Adam Stern will provide commentary on the selections.
