Recycling Collection Event

Saturday, September 23, 2023


Drop off hard-to-recycle items at this collection event. No vehicles may enter after 3 p.m. No exceptions! In addition, only residents in cars will be provided service – walk-ups not allowed.

We will collect the following for free, unless noted:

Tires

  • Limit 6 passenger tires per household (18 inches and below) free of charge. 
  • $1.50 for extra tires off rim
  • $3 for all passenger tires on rims.
  • $9 charged for each large truck tire
  • $18 charged for each truck tire on rim (cash only)
  • No oversized tires accepted.

Electronic and Computer Equipment

  • DVD players
  • VCRs
  • Stereo equipment
  • Printers
  • Copiers
  • Fax machines
  • Scanners
  • Cellular phones (please remove personal information)
  • Computers and computer monitors
  • Computer mice
  • Keyboards
  • Tablet computers
  • e-readers                                                                                                                                             

Television Sets

  • TV sets encased in plastic, wood console, wood and big screen TVs accepted.

  • No rechargeable, cell phone, or nicad batteries accepted. Lithium-ion batteries, like tool and vape batteries, will not be accepted.

Rain Barrel, Compost, and Worm Bin Sale

To encourage the use of recycled content material and more efficient use of water, the City is offering rain barrels at a large discount. In addition, start backyard composting with a compost bin to save resources and money. Simple to assemble and can be stored in or outside. Items made from recycled plastic. 

Limited quantities still available, each is $25. Please be ready with cash.
