- Lindsey Walsh, Council President
Council President Walsh currently holds Position Number 4 on the City Council.
Lindsey Walsh was first appointed to the Issaquah City Council in Feb. 2019 and then elected in Nov. of 2019 after serving two years on the Planning Policy Commission. She moved from Los Angeles to the Issaquah Highlands in 2009 with her husband, Jeromy and two kids.
We chose Issaquah for the beautiful hillsides, wonderful schools, safe and walkable neighborhoods and great diversity. As a small business owner of 15 years, Lindsey can often be found at Zeeks Pizza enjoying lunch before heading back to work from home. Outside of work and Council, Lindsey enjoys weightlifting, walks down the hill with her family, and leading her daughter’s Girl Scout troop.
Lindsey’s priorities include investing in quality of life transportation projects, working with neighboring towns to improve traffic flow, increasing the city’s partnership with the school district, championing efficiency in our fiscal decisions and smart growth.
