Created in 1983, this commission serves as a policy advisory body to the Mayor and provides guidance and direction for Issaquah's future growth through continued review and improvement to the City's Comprehensive Land Use Plan and related land use documents.
The Planning Policy Commission is comprised of seven regular members, with four-year terms; and several alternates, with two-year terms. All members are appointed by the Mayor and subject to confirmation by the City Council. Terms expire April 30 of the year listed. For more information, see IMC 18.03 and Rules & Regulations.
