My name is Paul Vigo. I am originally from New Jersey but went to the University of Colorado where I played football. For my senior year, I was selected as team captain and that helped me sharpen my leadership and socialization skills that I believe will become very useful in my time as a police officer for the City of Issaquah.
After graduation, I enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. I did one tour in Iraq as an infantryman and rose through the ranks quickly but decided to serve my country in a different way once my contract was up. I worked for Department of Corrections on a specialized gang task force for the state of North Carolina before moving my family to Washington when my wife was expecting our third child.
On my time off, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, coaching young athletes and spending time with my family. We love calling the Issaquah area home.
