Business Survey

Issaquah Business Survey

How can the City better assist its current, and future, businesses? In 2016, we conducted a survey to find out.

Of the 2,500 businesses surveyed, more than 332 responded. In addition, 20 businesses participated in longer, in-person interviews.

  • Traffic and transportation are major challenges.
  • Businesses want visibility and more parking options.
  • Businesses are looking to expand, but are having a difficult time finding space.
  • Profits are rising, and the majority of businesses are looking to hire.
  • Issaquah employers rank housing affordability as the No. 1 issue to recruit and retain employees.
  • Issaquah's natural beauty and quality of life are key business assets.
