The Planning Policy Commission will hold a hearing at its regular meeting on May 10, 2018, to take public testimony on amendments to the Issaquah Municipal Code related to the expiration of the Development Agreement for Talus. This urban village currently has a Development Agreement with the City that dictates the rules and entitlements associated with that neighborhood for a specific time period, and that time period expired in May 2017. The goal of the amendments is to keep the existing character of each urban village and make land use rules more consistent with the rest of Issaquah. The Council specifically remanded the proposed designation of Parcel 9 to the Planning Policy Commission for further consideration, within the context of overall proposed replacement zoning for Talus
The proposed zoning designation for Parcel 9 is being considered and may change as a result of the public review process.
