The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony on the proposed Central Issaquah Development and Design Standards and Issaquah Municipal Code amendments regarding inclusionary zoning, which are in response to the moratorium work plan item on affordable housing. These amendments propose to 1) increase the existing requirement for affordable housing in new development within the Central Issaquah Urban Core zoning district; and 2) add a requirement for a portion of affordable housing in new development outside the Urban Core zoning district yet inside Central Issaquah. The amendments include:
1. Chapter 2.0 Definitions
2. Chapter 4.0 Zoning Districts, Uses and Standards Summary
3. Chapter 5.0 Density Bonus Program
4. IMC 18.21 Affordable Housing
These proposed amendments may change as a result of the public review process.
