Mayor's Month of Concern for the Hungry

Do you want to help hungry people in our community?

On September 4th, the Mayor delivered a proclamation in support of the Mayor's Month of Concern for the Hungry. You can help support this campaign by participating in a Food Drive for the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank!

This Saturday, September 8th, teams will be collecting food at these five grocery store locations:

  • Fred Meyer Issaquah
  • QFC Issaquah
  • Issaquah Safeway
  • QFC Klahanie
  • QFC Pine Lake

Volunteers will be handing out flyers at the doors to encourage shoppers to purchase a few high priority items to replenish supplies needed at the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank. Volunteers will be at other grocery stores collecting donations throughout the month. If you are interested in volunteering to help the food drive, please contact Mike Hatada at
