Recycle: Latex Paint Collection at the Recology Store

The Recology Store in Gilman Village is now collecting latex paint as part of the Take it Back Network.

Drop off unwanted latex paint, water-based stains and clear finishes for a small recycling fee.

The Recology store is partnering with Green Sheen for paint recycling. Customers can bring in up to three containers and will be charged 21 cents per 1/4 lbs dropped off. If you have more than three containers, please call ahead to ensure they can accommodate larger amounts. The paint must be one color per container, no mixing colors or paints.

Oil-based paint, solvents and other hazardous products are NOT ACCEPTED. Residents should refer to the Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County for information about how to dispose of oil-based paints. Businesses in King County please refer to the Business Hazardous Waste information and the Small Business Hazardous Waste information pages for oil based paint disposal information.
