Share Your Input: Regional Transportation Plan

The Puget Sound area’s draft Regional Transportation Plan is now available for public comment through Jan. 31, 2018.

The draft Regional Transportation Plan describes how the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) intends to meet the area’s transportation needs over the next two decades. While the area’s population is expected to swell to nearly five million people and transportation needs become more apparent than ever, this transportation plan addresses:
  • Preparation for autonomous, connected, shared and electronic vehicles
  • Regional transit, with a goal to increase annual transit trips from 215 million to more than 500 million
  • Long-term funding and how regional plans match state plans
  • Climate change and equitable access to transportation
  • And more

Regional Transportation Plan Feedback
Mayor Mary Lou Pauly and City Council are reviewing this plan, and they invite the residents of Issaquah to do the same. The public is encouraged to share their input and provide comments on the draft plan through Wednesday, Jan. 31.

View and comment on the draft Regional Transportation Plan online by visiting the Regional Transportation Plan website.

The Transportation Board will also accept comments in person or via U.S. mail:
  • In person: 9:30 a.m. Jan. 12, 2018 at the PSRC offices
  • U.S. mail: Kelly McGourty, PSRC, 1011 Western Ave., Ste. 500, Seattle, WA 98104.
