Public Hearing - Site Permit Applications

Wednesday, September 26

The Development Commission will hold a hearing on Sept. 26, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the Pickering Room, 1775 12th Ave. NW. The purpose of the hearing is to take testimony on three applications:

Application SDP18-00001
Application ASDP18-00007
Application ASDP18-00006

The proposal may change as a result of the public review process.

  • Application No. SDP18-00001 has been made by MG2 Architects on behalf of IHIF Commercial for development of a one-story retail development in 11 buildings containing entertainment, retail, daily goods and services, and restaurants. The buildings total 111,000 sf on 10.3 acres with 485 surface parking stalls. An additional 7,900 sq.ft. of second story retail, restaurant, or deck space is possible. The proposal is located along 9th Ave NE between NE High Street and NE Discovery Drive.
  • Application No. ASDP18-00007 has been made by CollinsWoerman on behalf of IHIF Commercial to build a 4-story medical office building containing about 92,400 sf on a 2.82 acre site. 394 parking stalls will be provided primarily in a parking deck. The proposal is located on the north side of NE Discovery Drive, between 6th and 8th Avenues NE.
  • Application No. ASDP18-00006 has been made by Jackson Main Architecture on property owned by IHIF Commercial to build a self-storage building containing 3-stories and a basement. The building has approximately 105,000 sf and 34 surface parking and loading stalls on   about 0.8 acres. 

The proposal may change as a result of the public review process.

Those desiring to express their views or to be notified of the action taken on this application should notify the Development Services Department of their interest by attending the public hearing or providing your name, address, and e-mail to the Project Planner with a request to become a Party of Record.  Input from the public will be documented in the permit file and forwarded to the Development Commission for their consideration.

Written comments on the proposed amendments may be sent to Lucy Sloman, Development Services Department, PO Box 1307, Issaquah, WA 98027, or DSD@issaquahwa.gov prior to the hearing. Written or verbal comments may be provided at the hearing. The decision, once rendered, is appealable.
