July 18, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Tibbetts Creek Manor
Join us for an open house to learn more about a proposed transit-oriented development (TOD) project in Issaquah!
This is a private-public partnership to create a mixed-use development that provides affordable and market-rate housing; commercial uses, including a nonprofit provider of medical, dental and behavioral-health services; and a publicly-accessible plaza.
This project will be a catalyst for the Central Issaquah Plan's vision, and increase transit usage – creating a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly environment that connects to amenities.
Representatives from the City; the development team (Spectrum Development Solutions and King County Housing Authority); and commercial tenants (HealthPoint, Valley Cities, Bright Horizons and NW Kidney Center) will be available for the community to learn more about the project and provide input.
July 26, 5:00 PM @ Eagle Room, City Hall
The Issaquah Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing to review the Gilman Town Hall and Jail nomination for designation as a City of Issaquah landmark. At the close of the hearing, the commission will either make a final decision on the nomination or issue a preliminary determination of significance and continue the public hearing to another time. The purpose of the hearing is for the commission to hear public testimony to assist in determining whether the property meets landmark designation criteria.
