  1. Strategic Plan: Community Open House

    June 20, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Issaquah Depot

    We heard from you! In April and May, 1,300 people responded via an online survey; community-led meetings; focus groups; and “pop-ups” at public events. Following a workshop with community partners, the City recently identified five draft priority topics for our future Citywide Strategic Plan. Join us at this open house to learn more, and provide your feedback.

  2. AVP Seattle Open

    June 21, 8:00 AM - June 24, 5:00 PM @ Lake Sammamish State Park

    Seattle is synonymous with coffee, but fans will get their jolt from some intense action in this tournament which will conclude the first half of the eight-event schedule. The competition on the courts will be quite a contrast to the serene setting along the shores at Lake Sammamish. As eagles soar in the background, players will be competing to take home the Pacific Northwest AVP trophy.

  3. Make Music Day

    June 21, 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Olde Town Issaquah

    Join us for free live music throughout downtown Issaquah for Make Music Day! The event includes eight stages; 30+ performances; a Kid Zone with arts and crafts; a petting zoo and more. At 7 p.m. join us for an all-instrument LOUIE LOUIE FLASH MOB on the steps of City Hall, located at 130 E Sunset Way. Bring an instrument or use one of ours. This event is sponsored by the City of Issaquah Arts Commission, Talking Rain and KIND.

  4. Free Self-Defense Training Course

    June 23, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ YWCA

    Back by popular demand, Issaquah residents ages 10 and up (though open to all, this class is targeted to women) are invited to build their self-defense skills. Wear some comfortable clothes and shoes for the session. The two-hour class will be a basics course, but you’ll leave with some tangible skills.

  5. JOGA: Yoga for Athletes

    June 24, 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM @ Lake Sammamish State Park

    Offered by the AVP Tournament, kick-off your Sunday with Sunrise Joga on the Beach! Joga is an athletic style of yoga that blends postures and sports movements so athletes can find more balance, strength and flexiblity. All levels of fitness are welcome! The Joga session will be led by certified Joga trainer, Rachel Sigl! Rachel has trained many NFL, NBA and MLB athletes with Joga, making a huge impact on their fitness & well being.   6. AVPFirst Kids Volleyball Clinic

    June 24, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Lake Sammamish State Park

    Join AVP for a free AVPFirst skills clinic sponsored by Clif Bar and taught by pro athletes and coaches, complete with an autograph and picture session! Clinic participants will take part in a "high five" line experience on the stadium court prior to the AVP Pro Tour championship matches.
