Spring soccer is offered for school-age children, kindergarten through fifth grade.
Registration begins the third Wednesday of November.
Registration takes place according to grade and school within the Issaquah School District. Regardless of public, private or homeschool options, all children within the school district boundaries have an opportunity to register.
Practice and Games
The kindergarten program runs for six weeks and will consist of one practice (optional practice during spring break) and five games played on Friday nights.
The first- through fifth-grade program will include midweek and Saturday meetings that will consist of either a practice or a game.
For all grades, the practice and game locations will be determined after registration closes for the season.
Teams will be formed by grade and school by the staff of the Issaquah Parks & Recreation Department.
Teams will be based off of the previous Issaquah Parks & Recreation Spring Soccer season's teams as well as the Buddy Rule. It may be necessary at times to combine schools, but all attempts will be made to keep players grouped geographically.
Buddy Rule: Each player will have the ability to request placement with one other player. Both players must request each other as their Buddy Player or request will not be considered.
A head coach may request the placement of the son or daughter of one assistant coach.
The head coach's son or daughter will automatically be placed on the head coach's team, unless specifically requested otherwise.
